As a Training and Development Specialist , you'll do more than deliver training—you’ll play a critical role in empowering staff to succeed in their roles, enhancing service delivery for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and directly supporting the growth of our teams.

What You’ll Do:
  • Build engaging curriculum that supports real-world learning and development needs.
  • Design and facilitate high-impact training programs through a variety of formats: in-person, virtual, one-on-one, and more.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify skill gaps, training needs, and strategic learning opportunities.
  • Maintain and update training materials, manuals, and visual aids to reflect policy and procedural changes.
  • Deliver core trainings such as new hire orientation, CPR, medication administration, and clinical/client-specific programs.
  • Continuously improve programs through feedback, innovation, and alignment with industry trends.
  • Support compliance by ensuring all training meets state and organizational requirements.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • At least one year of training or instructional experience (preferred).
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain, as required by state).
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative spirit and passion for helping others grow.
