We are excited to offer a full-time, remote position for a passionate Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to work with students in the Concord, California area. This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students, helping them reach their full potential through dedicated support and innovative teaching strategies.

Job Details:
Position Start: Immediate, for the upcoming school year
Location: Remote (serving students in the Concord, California area)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Caseload: 40 - 50 students with hearing impairments

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with special education staff to teach students with minimal communication skills.
Assist students in using augmentative and alternative communication systems to improve communication.
Develop personalized learning plans focused on the students' short- and long-term goals.
Conduct assessments and evaluate students' needs regularly to ensure progress.
Provide teletherapy services as part of the support team.

Qualifications:
Active California TDHH (Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) certification required.
1 year of relevant experience preferred, but not mandatory.
Strong ability to communicate using sign language.
