Title: Hybrid Principal Consultant Analyst

Pay Rate: $70.00 $90.00/hour (DOE)

Employment Type: 3-month Contract

Schedule: Monday Friday, Busines Hours

Location: Oakland, CA On-Site 3 days a week.

Tekberry is looking for a Principal Consultant Analyst to work hybrid with our client. This high-impact contract role involves complex cost modeling and financial analysis. PG&E or utility industry experience is highly desired. As a W2 employee , you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct advanced cost modeling and financial forecasting to support PG&E operations.
• Interpret financial data and trends to guide business decisions.
• Provide strategic insight and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial planning with business initiatives.
• Translate complex data into executive summaries, reports, and presentations.
• Leverage Excel, SAP, and other financial systems for data consolidation and analysis.
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all reporting and modeling tasks.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of finance or business analysis experience, preferably in the energy/utilities sector.
• Expert-level Excel skills; strong experience with cost modeling and financial forecasting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with senior-level stakeholders.
• Ability to synthesize complex data and present findings to business and technical audiences.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Preferred:

• Prior experience with PG&E or other major utility companies.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Prior consulting experience in a client-facing role.
