Key Responsibilities
The 1st Commis Chef is responsible for assisting the Sous Chef and Chef de Partie in producing and delivering the best culinary experience at sea. ; The role requires a strong understanding of international cuisine, recipes and culinary processes and food safety practices.; Job responsibilities include adhering to company recipes, daily production schedules, demonstrating an ongoing understanding of the ingredient consumption required for daily production to minimize food waste during production. ; The role also requires demonstrating commitment to safety, compliance with international regulations and Company standards, and upholding the company's values while maintaining professional relationships, and promoting a harassment-free environment.; Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
At least 1 to 2 year of prior work experience in a culinary environment as Commis Chef or similar roles.; Culinary related education (Preferred).; Knowledge of basic food preparation, presentation, and preservation.; Basic knowledge of Public Health, Food Safety and Sanitation regulations and procedures.; Ability to organize and complete work by deadlines.; Good English language skills, both verbal and written.; Ability to work in a large multinational environment.; Job Benefits
